About Us

About

My husband and I grew up as only children and in the public school system. We have lived most of our lives in the city, but now we homeschool and raise our seven kids in the country. We moved here to get debt-free and finally reached our goal! We have a vision of staying debt-free and using real life experiences as a large part of our family’s education. So here is where we will document our projects and our learning. We hope it is an encouragement to you.

Our other kids like to make shapes like smiley faces and hearts […]

We love going for walks on the county road by our house.  It really is a long drive way, which makes it perfect for walks without having to worry about traffic. Our neighbor at the end of this road has been letting us get pears from his pear tree.  On this day’s walk we gathered […]

Freshly Cut Grass

A few weeks ago a friend of ours called us up and said that he and his son wanted to mow our grass.  Our tractor has been broken for a long time and we spent a lot of money to get it fixed, but it’s STILL broken and may now cost more to get it […]
