Freshly Cut Grass

A few weeks ago a friend of ours called us up and said that he and his son wanted to mow our grass.  Our tractor has been broken for a long time and we spent a lot of money to get it fixed, but it’s STILL broken and may now cost more to get it fixed than it’s worth.  Also, we don’t have enough sheep yet to keep up with the mowing.

I wish I had a better before picture.  Here’s the best I could find of the long grass/weeds around the playground set.

They did a great job and we have really enjoyed the short grass!  Our boys also had fun helping out.

(When taking the first picture below I forgot to take the camera out of the manual setting that my daughter had it on, so it was overexposed and I edited it as best I could.  I learned that you can’t really fix much when a picture isn’t taken in RAW mode.)

After they mowed our lawn our son asked if he could try to fix our push lawn mower, so my husband helped him to fix it!

Now he likes going out to the back field where the sheep are and mowing it a little a time.  Just ’cause he wants to. :)
